Unable to change grades/values

I am a new instructor.  I am struggling with one portion of the grades continuing to reflect higher than 100%.  I have tried changing points, weight, and editing the individual assignments.  Despite whatever I do, the grades for that one portion remains unchanged.  I asked a colleague for support and we were not able to figure it out.

@AceTheDillo The most likely reason for an assignment group's subtotals to be above 100% when that's not expected is that some assignment has 0 points possible, and students were given positive point values for it. You can see points possible at the top of gradebook columns, which say "Out of X" beneath the title. Focusing on the assignments in a single group is simpler if you filter by assignment groups.
