Good morning, @WhitneyKiker ...
Sorry to hear that you aren't finding the courses listed in Canvas that you had registered for at the University of Washington. While I do not work for UW, I can give you some general things to try that might be of help:
- Try contacting UW's Canvas Support team. I visited the UW website, and I found the following page for students: Canvas Help for Students – IT Connect (uw.edu). And, if you are an instructor, there is a separate page for you: Canvas Help for Instructors and Staff – IT Connect (uw.edu).
- In Canvas, go to your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen. Do you see your course(s) listed there? If so, they may not be published just yet, and this would be something that your instructor would have to do in order for you and your classmates to access. If you do not see your course(s) listed on the "All Courses" screen, then you would want to reach out to your IT Connect team at UW.
- Try a different browser. Make sure you are using an up-to-date browser, too. Generally speaking, both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are good choices when navigating around Canvas. You can also check this Guide to see if your computer meets the system requirements: What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?.
- Try clearing your browser's cache/history. After doing this, close your browser, re-start the browser, and then log back in to Canvas to see if anything has changed.
- Try contacting Canvas Support to see if they have any other suggestions for you. How do I contact Canvas Support? - Instructure Community
Hopefully one or more of these suggestions will be of help to you. Please keep us posted here in the Community...thanks!
