To Do List/Calendar not appearing or functioning

I use the Canvas Student App on both my iPhone and my iPad. My To Do list used to show me assignments that were coming up within the next week. Now it has stopped updating and only shows two assignments due within the next few days. I know that I have more assignments due within the next week because my professors have talked about them and because I can look them up under my courses and under my grades. This issue is happening on both my phone and my iPad. On my phone only, the calendar shows no events what so ever. Events appear on the calendar on my iPad. I also have my canvas calendar synced to my phone calendar so that my assignments show up in my phone calendar. 

I have signed out and signed back in. I have updated both apps, I even uninstalled and then reinstalled the one on my iPad and the issue still persists.

Go to your canvas setting and go to notification settings. then add a personal or school email that you have on your phone and it will send you daily updates of what is upcoming and what is due. if this does not fix your problem feel free to message me.
