On Canvas Teacher on iPad ver 14.4, when grading, the swipe left to next student AND touch grade bar to enter grade have both stopped! This is the most valuable feature for both efficiency and ergonomics compared to using desktop (which is also cumbersome). Please help me figure out how to enable these features again. Thank you!

Canvas Teacher 1.12.1 was just released with a possible fix for this issue. Can you try out this update and see if it fixes this issue?
If you are trying to swipe after making annotations (for example, with an apple pencil) you should uncheck the annotation tool in the toolbar. Then you can swipe to the next student. I'm not sure about the touch grade bar since I mostly use rubrics for quick grading.
Tried that and it still doesn't allow me to swipe. I have to hit done, which takes me out of the assignment and back to the to do list.
It appears from other community discussions this is a wider issue. This feature still remains on the iPhone, so my assumption is this is a bug or omission to the latest updated. I'll let you know if I hear about a fix or change.
Touch for grade bar still not working but swipe and submission count fixed. Still getting double submissions for most students. One is the submitted assignment, the other is a message that the student has no submission, which is a minor annoyance.
I am dealing with this problem still right now. I am trying to swipe after grading a written input on a quiz and the screen image will be move and then bounce back rather than move to the next ungraded assignment. Sorry. Still not working on phone and iPad. Cannot believe Canvas has screwed this up. This is just unbelievable.
