Hi @EthanHoy,
Welcome to the global Canvas/Instructure Community and I am sorry to hear about the experience that you had with Canvas Studio.
Unforunately, I do not have an answer for you because there are variety of different ways (some of the most common for students are below and there are more when you consider mobile options) to create or add a video to your Canvas Studio Library:
- upload a video file to your Studio Library after clicking on the "Studio" icon on the left-side global navigation
- upload a video file to your Studio Library while going through the submission process for an assignment
- record using the "Studio Capture" option after clicking in your "Studio" icon on the left-side global navigation
- record using the "Studio Capture" option while going through the submission process for an assignment
- record using the "Screencast-o-Matic" option after clicking on the "Studio" icon on the left-side global navigation
- record using the "Screencast-o-Matic" option while going through the submission process for an assignment
If you used one of methods mentioned above, which one? If you did not use one of those methods, how did you do it?
Also, have you reached out to your school's Canvas team or (if available to you) Canvas Support directly? I am only asking because (1) it will soon be the weekend (the time is almost 12:25 PM Eastern Time in the USA) and (2) they may be able to work with you more directly to find out what happened, how to prevent it in the future, and how to proceed (especially if it involves getting permission of your teacher to reopen the assignment so that you can submit again.
