I was guiding my students through peer review on Canvas today, and apparently they don't have a side-by-side document window and comment/rubric window like I (as the instructor) do. They have a pop-up that obscures the document window, which defeats the purpose of doing this online.
The only workaround we found was to reduce the size of the document, but that created a problem for students with visual disabilities.
Why isn't it the same? It would be easier for instruction, that's for sure.
Also - why can't students save part way through filling out a rubric?
Thanks

Hi @cpalmerateou,
Can you confirm that your students experience matches what is shown on the How do I submit a peer review to an assignment? - Instructure Community - 293 guide? From what I see there, the rubric should function similarly to SpeedGrader where it's in a right-side tray. I also believe the save button shown in that guide should work too. I'm wondering if you're perhaps using a 3rd party tool for peer review since what your students are experiencing seems to be different from the guide.
Look forward to hearing back from you!
