I am a student stuck on the instructor view of the page. Not sure how I even got into it, it says instructor at the bottom and I am unable to view or submit any of my assignments. If I log out I just get logged back in as instructor. Help?

That must have been a surprise and definitely an error when enrolling you.
Because you have reached the Global Canvas Community, we don't have access to your school's instance to help change that, so I suggest contacting your schools Canvas/IT folks for assistance there.

I also have this question but in reverse. I'm an instructor and somehow am stuck with a student view for the past few days (even though I am listed as "instructor" for the course when I go into my settings. Nothing I do changes the view - I've tried clicking 'leave student view', using a different browser, clearing all cookies and data, logging on from multiple devices. I need to make changes to my CANVAS course and it won't let me! I'm not sure what to do! HELP!

One of the teachers on our team is having this issue right now. She is stuck in student view. How did you resolve this issue?
One of my instructors is also having this issue. If I login with her credentials, I am able to make edits as a teacher. How do I resolve this issue?

My issue was solved because the teacher had multiple Canvas accounts so she needed to log out of other account before using her page for our course.
