Hi everyone,
New instructor here!
I am teaching at a Cal State University, Upper Div Bio class.
I posted a quiz via canvas and after the deadline, a student has told me they have submitted the quiz on time, but is "missing". Furthermore, the student claims there was a power outage at their home which is why the quiz never submitted.
I have lockdown browser enabled so I am guessing there must be a timestamp if an attempt was even made, however I am unsure how to confirm or deny if what the student claims is true. I have tried to look at the timestamps under Quiz Name > click 3 dots near top right > 'Show student quiz results' for the timestamps; is there another log in canvas that could provide more information?

If you are using New Quizzes, the moderate function allows you to see a detailed log per student of events.
I would speculate that there is a risk that the student was able to continue briefly on their local device before losing connectivity, and that they may have experienced activity that has not been picked up in the logs.
