There seems to be ongoing issues when using Canvas through the Safari browser. I don't know if there is such a thing as a record of the things that won't work, will work with a workaround or will only work using another browser. Loads of people use Safari and it can be quite frustrating for them and as an Institution, we are hoping to write some specific guidance for problems. It is difficult for us to test scenarios and it isn't productive going back and forth to the user. I have looked through questions on the community but can never tell if problems reported were ever fixed.
Regards, Kerrie.
Hi Kerrie,
Can you give more details about what kind of issues you're seeing? I use Safari with Canvas pretty much every day, and the only real quirks I've seen are 1) Safari is funny about 3rd party cookies, so there are some links to external sites/tools that have to be opened in a new window rather than in the main Canvas content window, and 2) The Canvas media recorder uses Flash, which is no longer enabled in Safari (and many other browsers as well)
Are there other issues that you are seeing?
The community site calls the compromised pollyfill.io js - which appears to be blocked by safari now following the supply chain malware injection performed in Feb of this year.

The offending library script has now been removed by the community support tech/team @330467 - should be loading happily now if that was the cause.
