Resubmitting an assignment with one attempt

I need to resubmit an assignment with permission from my professor, but the assignment's settings only allows one attempt, so I can not resubmit it through the platform, as she requested I do. Help!

If the assignment only allows one attempt, then there are no options for you as a student to submit a second attempt through Canvas, at least not through the assignment. You may be able to send your second attempt as a reply to your instructor through the Inbox, but you will need to talk to your instructor and confirm how they want you to get the second attempt to them.

You can forward this to your professor.....

In order to give a student an extra submission, your professor needs to edit the original assignment, and select "2" for the number of allowable submissions. Unfortunately, she can't do this for just one student. She'll have to change it for the entire class. Once she has done that, then you can resubmit your work.
