Remove an accidental submission made on behalf of a student

I am the instructor for the course and I accidentally submitted an assignment for the wrong student. Now there is no way to remove the submission. Can you help with this?

Hi @bsandor,

It should be possible for a Canvas admin at your institution (depending on your institution's policies and Canvas Support plan, it might also be possible for Canvas Support too) to delete the submission that you made on behalf of your student.

I would recommend that you provide your Canvas admin with:

1. a link to the Canvas assignment
2. tell them the name of the student
3. if there are multiple submissions/files for that student, tell them exactly which submission/file to delete
