I need your help, please.
I have been trying to add a new teacher to one of our courses offered here at my school, but I keep receiving the below message, given that the email addresses provided were absolutely correct.
We were unable to find matches below.
Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Chris,
It has been resolved at a higher level.
Many thanks for your help and expertise.
I will keep in touch should I need any further assistance.
Many thanks again.
@EarnistAttaalla ...
I don't see a screenshot that you might have intended attaching to your question. However, I've had this kind of issue happen before as well. Have you tried enrolling the user via Login ID or SIS ID instead? One of those methods should work.
Thank you for your reply. I have tried enrolling the user via both Login ID or SIS ID instead, and nothing works. I didn't include a screenshot previously because basically nothing was in it apart from the message regarding the email address of the user I would like to add: We were unable to find matches below.
Any other suggestions?
Highly regarded.
Hi @EarnistAttaalla,
Are you a Canvas admin for your school? If so, I'd recommend double checking your root Account -> people area to make sure this new user has actually been loaded into Canvas. If you're not an admin, you could check with your Canvas team (where someone should be an admin) to verify this for you.
It's possible there is a delay in whatever processes your school/institution has in place to grant Canvas access as people are hired. Perhaps the hiring process isn't 100% complete or something yet. We run into this from time to time at my institution where a person is told they are "hired" before all of the steps are completed. Just a thought as to what may be occurring here...
