Microsoft Teams Meetings in Canvas

The guide for Microsoft Teams could do with some clarification as the Teams icon doesn't appear in the RCE by default. This might be because the New RCE is being used over the Old RCE.

However, for the New RCE, you are required to follow the guidance here (that would be useful to have linked in the Teams setup guide). https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Admin-Guide/How-do-I-add-an-external-tool-to-the-Rich-Content-Edi...

But this gives no indication of what needs to be done if you already have two slots, not even in use but allocated. Has anyone got any ideas?

I'm not sure you can do that on your own. We use Box instead of Office 365 or Google Apps for cloud storage. We reached out to Instructure support, and they were able to move Box to be one of the two cloud storage options in the RCE, with Google Apps being the other one.

Thank you Mike, thats brilliant, I'll investigate that.

I had thought it might be the case we would have to get our CSM involved but there was nothing in the guide I originally posted this under to indicate that. I wonder if the other person posting got their answer to this question, I suspect that and the reason the Teams icon doesn't show up in the New RCE is fairly common.
