I set up all my quizzes to be worth 100 points. However, when I enter my student grades (with the boxes indicating "_/100" when I do so), the column header and the assignment change to "out of 0." I have tried going into Edit from the individual quizzes but there is nowhere to adjust the point value. I have tried setting up a mock quiz and get the same results.

Hi @EricBrandell, I see this happening when instructors add assignments on the Assignments page by using the plus sign option in an assignment group. They select 'Quiz' in the drop-down menu even though students take the quizzes in class. Instructors are able to enter points and save this. This will create quiz assignments that students are supposed to complete online. If the instructor has not added questions to these quizzes, the 'out of' will change to zero. Quiz points are calculated by adding points per question. If questions have not been added, the quiz is worth zero points. I usually advise instructors to go back to the Assignments page and create new assignments for each quiz by clicking on the plus sign in an assignment group and select Assignments in the drop-down list. Enter the title for a quiz and the points. Save and publish the assignment. Go to the gradebook and transfer the grades. After transferring the grades, click on the incorrect quiz assignment title. Click the three dots at the top and select delete to remove it.
