Partial Credit for Matching and Categorization in New Quizzes

Can New Quizzes please allow partial credit on these types of questions? It frustrates students and I spend way too much time going back through them to award points.

In a quick review of Idea Conversations in this Community (I know, not the most intuitive name for that function), I found the following idea conversation: Partial credit for matching, categorization and sorting question types in Quizzes Next.

Those are helpful workarounds, but I too would very much like to see partial credit for matching in New Quizzes!

Thanks for sharing the link to that idea conversation. Since partial credit for categorization still hasn't been implemented, I wanted to comment/upvote on it but I don't see an option to do so. Is that because the status is set to "added to theme" and instructure added a comment?

I would also like to have partial credit given on matching questions, and I agree it is tedious to have to go back and change.

I see this has been in progress for 13 months, is there a solution in the very near future? It is a useful tool that I will not use much (regretfully) until the fix is included.

I do not think that has been incorporated yet. However, you can search for that feature as possibly coming up by going to the Canvas Roadmap page

How has partial credit for categorization questions not yet be addressed?  This should be a basic feature that every teacher I've talked to is baffled why it isn't.

How has partial credit for categorization questions STILL not been addressed?  This makes New Quizzes virtually useless to me. What is even the point of having new tools if basic functionality isn't there. Its like buying a new car, then realizing it doesn't turn left, it only turns right. But hey, it has a nice sound system.
