As a JROTC Instructor I do not have visibility of a Parent View, only the Instructor and Student Views. My parents tell me they have no ability to filter out the JROTC calendar from the other courses in with their child is enrolled. So if I put calendar items in Canvas germane to JROTC parents are inundated with Biology, History, Literature, Math, and many other courses so in effect they have too much to view and cannot see the happenings in JROTC that they need to see which is not just their child's grade.
The parents teamed up to solution this by requesting I create an Excel Spreadsheet calendar to attach in Canvas - I'm not interested in such a solution as changes to the calendar are frequent and will not flow from the Canvas calendar to an attached spreadsheet.
Please advise....
