Hi,
I hope this finds you well. I am a student (user role) and while watching videos in that are in the media gallery, I noticed that the audio would become silent the moment that the video speed is 3x speed or 4x speed. I can tell the video is still playing since the slider moves and the captions (CC) are consistent with the audio/video content. On google chrome, this is a nonissue and audio still plays at 3x and 4x speed. Is there a way to fix this?
Thank you,
AJ

Hi @FaheemJafri,
Media Gallery is part of a third-party video system called Kaltura, not directly something that's made by Instructure. The institution I work at uses Kaltura, but we don't have anything that goes as fast as 3x or 4x that I could test, and there are a lot of different options that could come into play for this. I think your best course of action is to bring this up with someone in your school/institution Canvas area (as they probably are admins for Kaltura too). They should be able to test this out and see if there's an adjustment they can make to the system to make it play audio at those speeds in Safari, or possible file a ticket with Kaltura if they need to make an update in the system to address this.
Hope this helps a bit!
