Hi there,
I was wondering what information is available to me as an instructor for normal, unproctored Canvas quizzes. I have used the quiz log function in the past to track if a student has consistently left the testing page, but now I am considering utilizing a lock down browser like Respondus to ensure that my students are taking their quizzes individually and aren't collaborating. Before I fully commit to a lockdown browser, however, I would like to know if there's anyway to set up the quiz so that I can see students' screens/surroundings/audio without using a proctoring service.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @DeletedUser ,
There is no built-in functionality in Canvas quizzes to allow instructors to view students' screens, webcam, or surroundings during a quiz attempt.

Don't trust lock-down browsers too much. Even if you lock down their computer, they can still look up answers, use AIs, and collaborate via cell phones.
