New Quiz Export for upload to ExamSoft?

It seems it is not possible now to export a New Quiz? None of my quizzes in the new format show up when I go into export. I am needing to export them so I can upload to ExamSoft. Is this not something I am able to do? Please help! I do not want to have to type in every question individually. 😞

Hello Tara, 

The new quiz type will show up under "Assignments" and can also be sent to other courses at the same institute by using this guide.

Hello @PedsRN ...

In looking through the written Guides available for New Quizzes here: Instructor Guide - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com) ... I'm not seeing a way from the Canvas UI side to export questions from New Quizzes to a QTI file, unfortunately.  Maybe others know a way to extract New Quiz questions another way...but that's not in my wheelhouse...sorry to say.

I'm so sad to see that this is still an issue. I saw it was in issue two years ago. And I'm sorry that it is so hard to get the question that you are asking answered. I'm having an issue because they have not updated the version of QTI that original exports to - so I was hoping that the new (but very old) quiz interface didn't have that issue - but no exports is even worse.

Thank you for the reply. I agree. i was incredibly frustrated it is not possible and as I had adopted the new format in Winter 2021 all of my exams were in this format. I have literally had to go in and copy and paste each one into Examsoft since we migrated this term. So time-consuming. Lesson learned I guess to always keep a word doc back up when I make new questions in an online system.
