Navigation links

Hi

I would like to make one of the elements on the left side an external link.
I currently have one called study update, it was made by a former employee,
how do you make them? so they can be on the left side, like files, participants,
files etc. See the attached photo. The screenshot is in danish

Navigation links are usually added either by external apps that are configured that way, or by using the redirect tool, which is an app that allows you to add a custom navigation link to your course navigation (you get to choose the link, the name, etc).

If you are looking to add an app that is not on Canvas as an external tool / app that appears on the course navigation, I recommend using the redirect tool!

I actually just want to change to URL link in the tab called "studieupdate". The website dosen't exist anymore and are replaced with another one.

Absolutely @FlemmingVesterg !

If the navigation link was added via the redirect tool by the former instructor, you should be able to edit the details via your course's settings under the Apps tab. However, if this was a tool added by the teacher or admin a while ago, those details won't be able to be updated, and you'll have to make a whole new link using the redirect tool, unless the website or app you're using has an external tool set-up available for your course.
