Multiple deadlines for offline assignment

My PI wants to allow students to pick the day they'll be taking the final exam. The assignment will be offered over 4 days. However, he wants the submission to be limited to 24 hours based on the time of download of the document within the assignment. Is there a way to do that?

Uuuff...  That's a tricky question.   I wonder if Quizzes would be best for this as there is a time limit setting.....

Thank you! I am trying to reason with him to just let them have flex time. It shouldn't matter how long someone chooses to work on the assignment.
