I just got a new laptop and when I opened Canvas my modules tab was gone. How do I fix that?

Hi there, @WhitleyDwyer ...

I am not sure if you are an instructor or a student.

• If you are a student and you are not seeing the "Modules" course navigation menu within your Canvas course, this means that, for some reason, your instructor has hidden that button from you and your students.  Many instructors that use Canvas all over the world choose to keep the "Modules" button visible to their students...as this is a way for instructors to organize content into modules/units/chapters.  I would recommend that you reach out to your instructor to see why "Modules" might be hidden.  How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
• If you are an instructor, do you see a crossed-out eye icon next to the "Modules" course navigation menu?  If so, that means that:
  • the hasn't been made visible to students.  Enable it using this Guide: How do I manage Course Navigation links?
  • none of the modules have been published yet.  Publish modules using this Guide: How do I publish or unpublish a module as an instructor?
