Merge canvas

There is no HELP on my CANVAS and I need to merge two accounts. Can anyone help? The lack of support is strange to me.

If you are wanting to merge two user accounts within your school's Canvas environment, you first need to be a Canvas administrator for your school's Canvas environment.  If you are this person, then you can use the Guide that I'll provide you to merge those two user accounts together.  If you are not a Canvas admin, you will need to speak to that person at your school.  How do I merge users in an account? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)

I'm not sure if this is the same Guide that you may have already gotten, but that is what you'd need to take you through the process.

Also, just so you know, if you are using Canvas - Free For Teachers, there is no administrative side, so merging users may not be possible.

I have found a sort of resolution to the issue. Sorry, I should have been clear that I am a student taking courses at two schools. 

I just found out that they are using two different versions of CANVAS and cannot merge, so the instructor on one campus is going to allow me to submit my work separate from CANVAS.

Hi Noelvnk, 

Your schools won't have different versions, but they will have different Dashboards. You should be able to access these Dashboards separately with different log-ins.

How are you accessing your course at the second school? You should still be able to access your Canvas course there. (Just a different log-in and password than the first school.)

You are right, that the two Dashboards cannot be merged as they are institution-specific.
