Mastery Paths in blueprint course does not sync correctly

We are trying to setup our first blueprint course using mastery paths. When it is synced to an associated course, the conditional content pages in the mastery paths are no longer in the mastery paths in the associated course, even though they are synced over in the modules correctly. Is this an expected behavior? Is there a workaround or settings change?

After checking with Canvas Support, I locked the mastery path and all the conditional items before syncing and that worked.
