Logging in takes me to a course that has ended

how can I reset my settings so that when I log into Canvas, I get my dashboard and not a class that has been over for months?

Hello there, @ElizabethStillm ...

Is it possible that you saved a link to your course as a bookmark or favorite within your web browser?  If that is the case, then that is most likely the reason why you'd be taken into your course rather than the Canvas Dashboard.  There are two solutions you can try:

• Delete the bookmark/favorite in your web browser and then navigate to your Canvas Dashboard to create a new bookmark/favorite.
• Edit your existing bookmark/favorite.  You might have a link pointing to a specific URL.  For example:
  https://SchoolName.instructure.com/courses/123456
  You would then edit the link to be something like:
  https://SchoolName.instructure.com

That was exactly the issue! I tried it on a different browser and did not have the same problem, so I went in on chrome and changed it. Thank you so much!!!!!
