Linking to an email discussion

Has anyone been able to find a way to get a link directly to an email in your Canvas inbox? I need to be able to get to specific conversations without having to dig around and search for them. 

I've gotten as far as:

https://YOURinstance/conversations#filter=type=inbox&course=course_884

but can't seem to find the specific discussion id variable.

I think the best you can do is to Star the conversations.  It should help a bit.
