Linking to Instructor Inbox

Is there a way to code a link in a course blueprint that automatically links to the Canvas Inbox of whoever is assigned as the instructor of the course when the course is published and populated? I'm not looking for how an instructor can create a link to their inbox, but a way that we can code an instructor contact link in a blueprint so that whoever is assigned as the instructor of the course will automatically have a Canvas Inbox message creation link on the home page of the course to make contact easier for students and avoid the need for instructors to create that link for each course they are assigned.

Hi @JasonCaudill3 ...

Rather than coding something into a page of your blueprint course, why not use the "Ask Your Instructor a Question" link?  This link can be found via the "Help" menu on the left-hand global navigation menu in your Canvas environment.  See this Guide for more details:

It's a couple quick clicks of the mouse, and if students use this instead, it also states, "Message will be sent to all the teachers and teaching assistants in the course."

In your blueprint course, you could easily add some wording to the course stating that students should use the "Ask Your Instructor a Question" to contact the instructor for help/questions/etc.
