Likert Scale without classic quiz?

For assessing students confidence and fostering self-reflection we use a self-assessment at the end of a module.

As well as allowing students to keep track of their learning, this information helps the TA and Course Leader to see if there are any concepts that are challenging for several people in the class so they can address it, for example in a live session.

We have statements and three options, like: "Yes, I feel confident I can do this." or "I need to review." etc.

With old quizzes their was this clumsy workaround with survey > Likert scales. How can I do this with new quizzes?

Or is there any other feature that could be used in Canvas?

(I am new to the platform and we are currently migrating our content and this is one of our obstacles.)

Based on the background that you provided, it sounds like you used the process described in the  How do I create Likert scale quiz questions? - Instructure Community - 942  support article. Is that correct?

Canvas does not have a "survey" type of quiz for New Quizzes and this is something that mentioned in the "How do I create surveys in New Quizzes?" section of the FAQ at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/New-Quizzes-Resources/FAQ-New-Quizzes/ta-p/243540.

What you can do is make a New Quiz that is worth (if desired) 0 points and also create questions that are worth 0 points. When creating that the New Quiz and its questions, you can follow a similar process as described above for a Likert scale and that would be to create fill-in-the-blank questions with multiple blanks.
