How can I hide office hours for a course while still displaying the course's assignments on the calendar?

I have a strong understanding of how to use the Canvas calendar. However, one feature I find frustrating is the inability to edit or filter assignments and events created by instructors. In most cases, I have no issues with how instructors organize their course calendars. However, when an instructor includes every office hour, the calendar becomes cluttered and difficult to navigate. I can’t simply hide the entire course because I still need to see the assignments. I would love a way to specifically filter out office hour events while keeping the assignments visible.
I have included screenshots to illustrate what I am describing. The first two screenshots show two different course calendars with all of the office hour events highlighted. The last screenshot displays the message that appears when I click on an office hour event. These screenshots are from the calendars of some courses I am currently taking. As shown in the last screenshot, I am unable to edit or modify the event in any way.

Hi @staciehernandez,
Thank you for the screenshots. Yes, the "Calendar" area can be a bit overwhelming when you are enrolled in a lot of courses or you have instructors that are assigning dates to a lot of content in a course, plus any Zoom meetings that will typically appear as an event.
In your courses, do your instructors have the official "Syllabus" area visible? If they do have it visible, is the "Course Summary" area also visible?
You can check out the How do I use the Syllabus as a student? - Instructure Community - 439 support article for information about what I am talking.
From a student perspective, using the area (yes, you would have to go there for each course instead of the "Calendar" area) is probably the best option.
