Is it possible to require correct answers before moving to the next question in a quiz?

Greetings Everyone:

I am trying to create a critical thinking exercise for EMS students.  What I would like to do is present a scenario and then a series of questions.  Each correct answer would allow them to progress to the next question, but incorrect questions would show the "incorrect comment" and force them to try again.   Is there a way to do this in Canvas Quizzes, or some other way in Canvas?

I don't believe there is an option like that - I know there are third party apps that do though. I bet the closest thing to what you're looking for is to "Allow multiple attempts" on New quizzes and make sure you check mark the "Build on last attempt". I think this would be a great feature though, could probably try putting it in the ideas community!

Thank you for your reply.  I am not using New Quizzes yet, but I have found a work-around.  It's a little clunky, but it seems to work.  On the chance this might be helpful to others:

Each scenario has 5 to 7 steps.  I create a module for each scenario  (ie Critical Thinking 1, 2, etc.)
Next, I create a 1 question quiz for each step of the scenario and place them, in order, into the module.
Each step / quiz in the scenario has the requirement of a passing grade from the prior quiz,

If a student gets the wrong answer the "Wrong Answer Comment" is displayed.  They must then retake the quiz to move further through the module.  Each new question contains the original scenario information plus the addition of the information from the correct answer before.    By the time they have correctly answered all quizzes the student will have gone through the entire scenario.

As I said, a little Clunky, but it looks like it works.
