Importing a Canvas Quiz formatting loss

I an a teacher of Biology and imported a Canvas Quiz (in new format) that was shared by a colleague into my course.  Sadly, it defaulted to an old-format style quiz.  

Problem #1 - I've lost features (accommodations/moderating) that I need.

Problem #2 - I only have points as a grade option and not percent.  This means the grades are not equitable ( /100) with other quizzes that have been entered.

Is this normal or a problem-to-solve?

Hi @mrafalowski,

There are two things you could do to fix this:

1 - If students have not taken the quiz yet, click the three dots menu on the right of the quiz and choose the Migrate option.  This will turn the classic quiz into a new quiz, giving you the options you need.

2 - Import the quiz again, but be sure to check the "import as new quizzes" option, assuming that is available in your Canvas instance (your Canvas team controls whether that option is there or not).  This would give you a fresh "new quiz" version of the quiz if all goes well.
