Can the location input in Calendar Events allow hyperlinks?
As of now, adding a zoom / google meet link does not allow a student to click on the link to easily open the meeting. Instead students need to copy the link, open a new tab, paste, and Enter in order to join a meet.
This would reduce a lot of extra legwork for our students and increase the accessibility to join our classes and meetings.

@Ethel2 It does not look like the location can be a hyperlink but when creating the event if you click on the "more details" option, you can put in details that show to the student and you get the full RCE there which does allow hyperlinks.
Another option is to use the Zoom integration with Canvas as when it creates the events, it adds the Zoom link in the description automatically. Not sure if Google Meet does the same as we don't use that integration. This may require your Canvas admin to set this up but is a great tool.
Hope this helps!
