Please help! I just realized that students can see the feedback boxes BEFORE the "show correct answers" date! How to change this so they cannot?
It is pointless to use this feature if you give multiple attempts! I have many instructors that I set up shells for, this really helps to guide them for grading purposes, but I do NOT want students seeing it!
HELP!!!!!
Hello @SarahSzwan1
Thanks for posting this in the Canvas Community!
I understand that you wish to have the general feedback on quiz questions hidden for students.
The best way to accomplish this is to hide the grades in the gradebook for the quiz. When you do this, Students will not be able to see their quiz responses in Quizzes on Canvas while quiz grades are hidden.
HERE is a guide on how to hide the grades if they were previously posted to the students.
If you have quizzes that you wish to hide this on that students have not taken yet, HERE is a guide on how to select a posting policy. To hide grades and results, and responses, you will want to select the option for Manually.
Hopefully this helps!

Is there a way to hide the general comments ALWAYS?
For me, if I do not type anything into the General Feedback area, then nothing appears so students don't get any general feedback. Is something popping up for them even when you don't type anything into that field? Or are you not referring to the general feedback option that is available for each question?
