How can we confirm all emails within our organization?

Hello all,

I'm a Canvas admin for a school and we recently have started heavily using Canvas for our now online classes. Professors want for students to be notified of announcements and changes to their grades via email as soon as possible and we would rather not send a mass email out asking the students to manually confirm their email addresses and wait for them all to do it.

Is there any way I can confirm all of their emails automatically? We use Outlook for email

Hi Connor,

If you created the student accounts vis SMS integration or a text file upload you shouldn't need to verify student email addresses before the students begin receiving notifications.  Is that the case?

FWIW, we have found that sometimes, for no reason, accounts created via API (which would be similar to SMS integration or text file upload) need to have the email verified.  Kind of random and frustrating.
