How can I give one student an extension on multiple assignments?

I have a student who needs extensions on multiple assignments. I'm going to give them one date to turn them all in by, but it looks like my only option is to edit each individual assignment to give this student an extension on each one. Is there a way to extend multiple assignments for a single student all at once?

If you are needing to update assignment dates for an individual student, unfortunately there is not a way this can all done be at once. Each assignment will need to be edited individually.

When setting this up, you'll want to add the student's name to an individual Assign To section in the assignment settings. Our guide for How do I assign an assignment to an individual student? will walk you through the process of this. Please keep in mind, you will want to keep "everyone else", otherwise you will remove the rest of the course from the assignment.

Hoping this is a future Canvas update.  This is a really time consuming process to do one assignment at a time for extensions!
