I was really excited about the recent release where importing course content with a group assignment would result in the group sets being brought over. I maintain a number of master courses that include group assignments and I was hopeful this would be a big time saver. What I noticed was that the group set comes over but not the groups within that group set. While yes, it does help a little, I was disappointed that the groups don't come over with the set. The group set doesn't even retain the settings around self sign up if that was checked off.
This wasn't a big enough change to be in the product blog where I could put this in a comment there or anything but was hoping someone might know if this is something that is going to be looked at or added? If not, does anyone know where a good place to provide feedback on this might be?

Hi @RachelSalmon,
I apologize for saying "FAQ". I meant to say "Features Q&A".
When on a release/deploy note page, there is a separate "Features Q&A" link to go to for comments. Please see below for an example from "Canvas Release Notes (2025-01-18)".
What is the date of the release/deploy that you are referring to? If you tell me, I can provide you with a link to its "Features Q&A".

Hi @RachelSalmon,
I do not know if anyone in the Community has any additional insight on this. I would recommend going to the product blog post (or the FAQ section for the release/deploy note) and to (1) provide your feedback and (2) ask your question.

I was asking here since this change was not included in the Product Blog and the Release/Deploy Notes do not offer the ability to comment. I did check in the FAQ and it says feedback on releases could be put into comments but there is not the ability to comment on the release notes.

Thanks! I definitely missed that so I appreciate you pointing that out.
