How do I assign weight to the assignments I have created?

You can create assignment groups (first link) on your "Assignments" page.  For example, you might have a group called "Quizzes", another group called "Essays", and another group called "Graded Discussions".  Then, you can use the information in the second link I provided to weight those assignment groups.  For example:

• Quizzes = 30% of total grade
• Essays = 50% of total grade
• Graded Discussions = 20% of total grade
• TOTAL = 100%
