External Tools Issues

This new quarter I suddenly have an issue with the CommonLit external tool. The other external tools work great, but whenever I try to use CommonLit, I get the sad face paper icon. I have used this option plenty of times, so I am not sure why it isn't working.

Hi @tami_smith ,
Does your school pay for Canvas? If so, this would be something to reach out to your Canvas Administrator or I.T. department about so they can resolve the issue, as they would likely be the ones to manage the external tools in your courses for your school.
However, if you installed the tool yourself or are using the free version of Canvas, it might be best to reach out to CommonLit's support team and seeing what's going on. There's a chance there's a consumer key error or something like that.
