External App not showing up in Sandbox

Hi,

I'm a developer who created an LTI 1.3 app.  For one of the colleges that would like to use the app, we noticed that it didn't appear as an option for install in their Sandbox account but it did in the live version.  However, they thought that for all other apps they've installed it appeared in both (all others but one were LTI 1.3).  Might there be a reason for the app not to appear in their Sandbox?

Thank you for contacting Canvas Support. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with an external app not appearing in your sandbox. As long as it has been enabled at the main account level, it should be appearing in the sandbox. Just because it is a "practice" course without  student enrollments should not fundamentally  change anything. It is possible that it needs to be enabled in the course navigation first. If it missing entirely from course navigation and the list of installed/uninstalled apps we may need to take a look at this specifically.
