We recently conducted a mid-term test using the Quiz application in Canvas, and we encountered an issue. Individual teachers were unable to find the option to hide quiz scores from students until the scores are published. This feature was available from the admin control, but teachers need the ability to manage this within their courses.
Could you please provide guidance on how teachers can hide quiz scores from students until they are ready to publish them? Any additional information on configuring permissions or settings would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

When it comes to hiding quiz scores in Canvas, for either classic Quizzes or New Quizzes, there are two areas with settings. For each quiz type, you will want to check the Grade Posting Policy and ensure it is set to Manual. If you have many quizzes, you may want to set the overall course Grade Posting Policy to Manual.
When using the classic Quizzes tool, instructors will want to disable the option Let Students See Their Responses... in the quiz settings. When using the New Quizzes tool, instructors will want to enable the option Restrict student result view in the quiz settings.
Then, when ready for students to see the results, the instructor can Post Grades in the Gradebook to allow the students to see the overall quiz grade on the Grades page and can allow students to see more detailed results by changing the settings within the individual quizzes.
