¿insertar paneles escritos?

Gracias,

Victor

Hi @VíctorRJofre,

Hopefully Google Translate has translated your question correctly.

Once I've recorded the video, can I edit it? For example, can I change the background? Can I insert credits? Background music? Insert written panels?

I will do my best to keep my answer short and also translate it using Google Translate.  The translated version will be in red text.

The ability to edit your video depends on the steps that you are going through and what programs or websites you are using. If you are using only Canvas to record yourself, it is not possible to edit your videos and do any of those examples that you provided

If you are using Canvas Studio, after you do a recording, it is possible to edit the video before it is uploaded. In order to do that you would need to use "Screencast-o-Matic" recording option. I would recommend watching the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMxfW3WDSZU and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK_JQCS1TH4.

If you are using Canvas Studio and have already uploaded the recording, officially, all you are able to do is cut, trim, or annotate the video.  The guides below can help you with those options.

  2. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Studio-Guide/How-do-I-trim-a-media-file-in-Canvas-Studio/t...

  4. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Studio-Guide/How-do-I-view-and-manage-annotations-in-my-me...

If you have already recorded to Canvas Studio but have not added any annotations to it, please watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FhDc0XuzNQ for an example of how to:

  1. download a video that is already in your Canvas Studio library
  2. start a new recording
  3. upload the downloaded video into the video recording
  4. edit the video

Please note, there have been changes to Canvas Studio since that video was recorded (in early 2021). Make sure to use the "Screencast-o-Matic" recording option.

If your school does not have Canvas Studio, you should contact your Canvas team for help.

I hope that you found this to be helpful.

  4. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Studio-Guide/How-do-I-view-and-manage-annotations-in-my-me...

Canvas Studio is a fantastic tool for creating webcam and screencast videos for your students. But you don't have to aspire to be a "one-take-wonder". There is plenty that you can do in the Studio post-production arena to enhance your videos, such as overlaying images, text, or arrows, hiding your
You'll see a "Screencastomatic" option when you select "Create" inside Canvas Studio. This video walks through the process for recording with that option.
