Does the canvas kick me out if I change the tabs?

Tomorrow, I have final exam and I have a concern since I'm studying from eBook and don't have a hard copy of the book and the exam is open book if I need to check something during the exam from eBook dose the canvas kicks me out when I change the tabs? Please advise.

What I do in these situations is use my phone to go on canvas and use the e-book while I'm on the computer taking the exam. It's better safe than sorry.

Hello @EmilyMinassian 

If your instructor is allowing for the ebook to be open while taking the quiz, you can absolutely have the ebook open in one tab and your quiz in another. Canvas won't kick you out or anything. 

Be sure to only have the quiz open in one tab and not two and you should be good to go!
