Courses Not Dropping from Dashboard after being removed from enrollment

We tried to use the API's to remove a faculty for a long list of courses. The API returned OK responses and when I go to the People Section of those courses the faculty has been removed, but the courses are still showing up for that faculty like they are still enrolled into that course.

Is there something other than being enrolled to a course that connects a faculty to a course?

They might have marked those courses as favorites on the "All Courses" page (YourSchool.instructure.com/courses). Could you please check if that’s the case?

If so, you might use this API Endpoint to remove them: https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/favorites.html#method.favorites.remove_favorite_course

She didn't have them favorited.

However, the courses have dropped off her dashboard now.  Guess there is some kind of delay between calling the API and the web site reflecting the changes.
