Correct name misspelling

I typed in a student's name incorrectly when I set her up in Canvas. How do I correct the spelling of her name? I don't know where to click.

What version of Canvas are you using?  My guess is that if you set the student up in your class, can you not just delete the student and then re-add them with the correct spelling?

You should be able to remove them from the class by going to the people page and clicking on the three dots on the right side.

When you say you "set her up in Canvas" are you an admin and created the student account manually? If so, here's the admin guide to edit a user's details.

Our administrative assistant signed me up for this course and she spelled my last name incorrectly.  How do I change the spelling of my last name?
