Changes made to a page are not showing up when saved

In my course I have a page called 'Additional reading material' where I post recommended articles and literature. I have never had any issues with it but now changes I make are not showing up when I press save? What is extra strange is that when pressing 'edit' I can see the changes I've made but when saving nothing comes up. Has anyone encountered this specific issue? 

I have tried to make a new page and copy the text and articles from the initial one but the same thing happens.

Hi @SaskiaTommos,

Since you can see the changes when you edit, it sounds like a browser cache issue when you view in normal mode. I'd suggest tha you clear your browser cache following the How do I clear my browser cache and cookies? - Instructure Community - 43 guide, which will hopefully resolve the issue.  Please do come back and let us know!

Thanks for the tip but the issue still remains.. I tried to log in and out of canvas after clearing my browser but still the same.

Hi @SaskiaTommos -- since it doesn't sound like it's a caching issue, I recommend you look behind the scenes of the page via the HTML editor.  My guess is there is some coding back there that is hiding the text from being viewed when posted.

Thank you for the suggestion! I am unfortunately way to untechnically skilled to check anything regarding HTML codes. I managed to get it to work by creating a new page and enter all the information manually rather than copy and paste so for now it's solved.
