I’m doing a 3D drawing on my canvas but I wanted to do it in pencil first then go back in with marker. The issue is the pencil is starting to smear, I’m trying to erase the smearing as I go but it’s becoming a bit much. Am I able to erase later after I go over the lines with marker or will the eraser smear the marker?
Hi @czhong ...
I am not sure that Canvas Community folks will be able to answer this question for you. Are you asking about something within the Canvas LMS (Learning Management System)? I am not really aware of any ways to do drawings in Canvas like you describe, so I wonder if you might be using something else called "Canvas" or maybe are you using "Canva" (which is a completely separate website not related to Canvas)? If you are taking a course at your school that uses Canvas as their LMS, you may need to reach out to your instructor directly to ask specifics about your drawing. You can contact your instructor by following the steps in this Guide:
How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
Hopefully this will help you. Good luck!

Hello @czhong
Similar to what @Chris_Hofer stated - this doesn't sound like you are in the correct place. This is Canvas the online learning platform. It sounds like you are using a particular software like canvasgfx to create 3D illustrations - this is not the correct place. You may want to try looking into who the developer is for your 3D illustrations and contact them directly.
