Can't recieve an email confirming address confirmation

I'm a student. In my account I have the main address (that I have registered the first), the second and the third. My second email is confirmed. Now I want to make the main address my third email. BUT I can't confirm it, because I don't recieve the email with confirmation. Canvas can't send me the email with the confirmation of my third address. What I should do? I have tried many times, I have deleted the third address and then have written again. I want to highlight my third account with the star next to address BUT I can't recieve the email with its confirmation.

Some email services will automatically place emails from Canvas into Spam or Junk. If you are not finding the email there, then that email will not work. If you don't get the confirmation email, you probably would not receive notification emails. You could check with your email provider. There is a chance you could list the sending address as a trusted sender.

I agree with james_whalley, but I would add that if it's a gmail address, the emails come in under the "Updates" tab in gmail.
