Can quizzes be designed so students only see answers for designated questions?

I design Canvas exams with 30 multiple choice, and 1 essay question. Back when I gave in class exams, I didn't return the multiple choice as I didn't want these being passed down year-to-year, but I returned the essay as those change. Is there a way in Canvas after an exam, to only allow students to see their answers for certain parts, in this case the essay, or is this an "all-or-nothing" deal in Canvas?
