There are some issues when using the Mastery Gradebook system that I can't find an answer for or solution to. Two of the issues are shown in the screenshot attached.
- When any quiz or assignment posts a score linked to an outcome that is not exactly the value stated on the outcomes scoring scale it fails to show properly on the students gradebook and the instructor individual student view.
- I have 3 test outcomes setup, 2 outcomes linked via a quiz and 1 linked via a lab with rubric. You can see the score is 1.5 / 2 yet no color coding on the rating scale. Clicking the Info button for details does indeed show 'Developing' in yellow but the rating scale only color codes if the score is an exact match. In this example the students score must be 0, 1, or 2 any partial values fail to color code.
- It should show any values less than 1 as 0pts rating, any values 1.0 to less than 2 as 1pts rating, and any value 2.0+ as mastery, using the full range defined on the outcome scale.
- Note that on the instructors view of the full Learning Mastery Gradebook, which shows all students listed, the yellow developing rating is applied correctly with the partial scores so just a bug in the individual grades view.
- Issue two (minor but confusing), I have each outcome named C6.1 xxx, C6.2 xxx, and C6.3 xxx, for some reason the first outcome in this example only shows a partial name. Looking next to the first Info icon in the screen shot it states "Query Syntax and Formatting" when the full name is "C6.1 Apply proper Query Syntax and Formatting".
- The second and third outcome listed show the full name, the pop-up info box covered the second but if you look below you will see that the C6.3 is the full name. Why is the first one trimmed?
- I have another course with 24 total outcomes and all of those display full names, so the issue seems uncommon.
