Automatic Mastery Grading on a quiz

Quick grading question: ( or maybe not so quick! )

Our mastery grading scale goes 4.5, 3.5, 2.5, 1.0, 0

4.5 - Mastery, 0 - No evidence.

I'm trying to get Canvas to automatically assign a grade based on a percentage right that I choose: for instance a 10-question quiz, I'd like to assign 4.5 for 8 or up, 3.5 for 6 to 8, etc. I know how to attach a rubric and do it manually, but I'd love for Canvas to take a percentage correct I determine to be 'Mastery' and assign that grade automatically.

Does anyone have any luck with doing anything like this? I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
